Brighton Animators Networking Group

The brief: create a new, animated opening sequence for the TV quiz show "Q.I.".

I was inspired by a line in the programme's mission statement: "The human brain is the most complex object in the known Universe, with as many neurons as there are trees in the Amazon rain-forest", to create a sequence which conveys the sense of curiosity and exploration nurtured by the show. I used a range of animation techniques: building clay and paper models and animating them using stop-motion, traditional hand-drawn animation put together in Flash, and digital animation in Flash and After Effects.
