Yep a great night and well done to all involved. I've no idea how many people watched the animations but there seemed to be a huge crowd around all through the night.

Thanks Luke, if Sarah's too busy (she's a bit of a work demon, I know), let me know if there's anything I could do to help instead.

Hi Luke, have you had any luck making Flash work on this Ning site? I'd really like to get the banner collaboration underway and if it's straightforward to do, it'd be great to tell everyone to do it in Flash. Also, is there an optimum file size to work with - Sarah's given me dimensions of 955 x 200 for the banner itself but it would be great to have a rolling selection from contributors, changing say, every month? Also, will you have to do it or am I able to help at all? Apologies for the bombardment of questions!
Cheers
Abbie

It's the 24th today and that means there's exactly one month to go before the Future Machine BANG animations will be projected onto the Unitarian Church. We're also starting to receive submissions for the night (which look great!) and we're looking forward to receiving many more!

For those of you who are yet to start putting your animations together, but would like to be involved, there's plenty of info to get you started. T… Continue

BANG continues to grow...

Hi all,

I just thought I'd post a quick note to say there are now 200 members of this site!

It's great news and it's also good to see that there's a lot of activity on the site with new pictures, videos and comments added every day.

Thanks to everyone who's involved (and particularly to Sarah for running the group) and I hope you to continue to post your brilliant animations and illustrations here. It's also been really encouraging to have lots of people along to the BANG events and it's good… Continue

Internships...

Afternoon all,

I just thought I'd let you know that we (Wired Sussex) have just launched the Brighton Internship Programme website. Some of you may be aware that for the past two years we've run internship schemes to get people the experience they need to work in the digital media industry.

We're hoping to run the scheme again later on in the year but in the meantime there's a website that contains information about internships and allows comp… Continue
