Internships

Afternoon all,

If any of you are looking to get your first job in the animation industry the Sussex Internship Programme will be open for applications next week. There's 40 six week internships at 40 companies to start off with and I can confirm that there's going to be at least three animation type roles in there, all at Brighton based animation companies.

Full details will appear on the website next week but in the meantime you might want to register your interest to make sure you hear about the roles as soon as they go live.

We are now into the thick of the interviews for the internship programme and the feedback from the companies involved is that the quality and level of the interns this year is excellent, and it is making their decision on who to take much harder to make.

I have been impressed too, in particular with the level of passion and enthusiasm shown by the grads for their particular industries. It definitely bodes well for the future of the industry.

This is the 1st round of internships, with 60 more to come over the next 6 months or so. Keep an eye here for further announcements
