Afternoon all,
Just a reminder that we've got a couple of events next week for people who are looking for work in the media industry. Both events take place next Thursday (the 12th) and both are at the Corn Exchange.
First up we have Make it into Media;This free event is an exciting opportunity for everyone – graduates, students, the employed and the unemployed – anyone who is interested in working in media to get up-to-date, first hand and relevant advice on the skills, knowledge and training needed to work in this dynamic industry.
Make it into Media takes place from 12-4pm
Then in the evening we have the Portfolio Clinic. The Portfolio Clinic is a great opportunity for those looking to carve a career in digital design to get expert advice and feedback on their portfolio presentations from local exciting creative companies. You'll gain invaluable information on what companies are looking for from applicants, how to structure your work and the best ways to stand out from the crowd.
The Portfolio Clinic takes place from 5-7pm
If you do make it along then come and see me on the Wired Sussex stand and say 'hello'.
